Kenny's back and we win.

1st half, we looked OK, not outstanding, in fact pretty ropey until we equalised. 2nd half, again, not a world beating performance, but we won it 0-2 and the game 3-1.
I know Kenny triggers some people, but I can't reason why. We a more balanced, solid and harder to beat team with him playing, he brings creativity that we lacked without him. I have never hidden the fact that I like Kenny, but it's simply because of the job he does, and he does it well.

A few qualifiers to the former:
1. He is by no means THE most creative player have had in recent history
2. He is not immune from the odd error, but this, as a percentage of his game and the number of touches he has in a game, it's to be expected, if he didn't, he'd playing for Barca.
3. I know we need to be thinking up a long term solution.

Pretty much where I am with him.

All the stats say we are better with him in the team.

Yeah good summary. I was delighted when we signed him tbh as I had watched him play a couple of games in the Scottish premier. I felt he was what we needed at that time and was good value. I never expected he'd still be here all these years later.
We do really need a quality CM signing. Someone who is part of a future spine. Mattsson and Topic may develop but we need a new Kenny within a year. He can't go on forever.

Mattson has done well, albeit, yesterday, he seemed a bit off it, not terrible, just not his usual, all action self. I've forgotten what Topic was like it's been so long since we've seen him play.

I can remember Topic being poor, however that was all under Manning, sure he played like 1 game under Clement.

Everybody else got a fresh chance under Clement so Topic deserves that too.

Didn't take him long to realise that Medic was a dud, personally I suspect similar will happen with Topic, but it would be super f'ing helpful if he could turn out half decent wouldn't it.

You're not wrong PP, Kenny can't go on forever, and we need that role in the hands of someone decent.

There have been some bizarre negativity and blame gaming towards Kenny.
I supposes that even when we are terrible he doesn't hide.
Saturday was an obvious example of how much we need him to drive us on.
Kenny remains the first name on the team sheet for me.

Absolute class. Faces up to the criticism when the team is playing poorly, and is the catalyst to this team playing well and winning and has been for years!
A true captain and leader!!
We need another Kenny and quick

I've been a Kenny critic but wised up second half of last season onwards to his current importance in a young team.

Bit worrying that we're reliant on a player who is 35 in a few months mind you.

Future Norwich manager perhaps?
