The one thing I don't understand is how the majority of fans have bought into Webber and Farke, but so players seem to have not done. 

Howson, Murphy, Dorrans, Jacob Murphy all seemingly deciding this is a good time to leave the club. You wouldn't put any of them down as people motivated solely by money. 

I suppose Dorrans is understandable, imagine if you were 30 years old and got the opportunity to finish your career at Norwich whilst you still had something to offer.... 

... But the idea that Howson wanted to move 240 miles away from a county which is literally more famous for its ridiculously huge network of rivers than anything else, so he can do more fishing, I didn't buy that one. Legendary angler John Wilson MBE seemed happy enough here for 42 years. 

I don't buy London born Norfolk raised Jacob Murphy being a Newcastle fan either. It would be more believable if he wasn't about 6 years old the last time they were any good. Childhood photo of the Murphy's in Newcastle shirts or I call bullsh*t.

There is suddenly a lot of activity about Nelson going to Wolves, almost a done deal although Farke or Webber said last night that both he and Jerome expected to be here at the start of the season.  Anyone heard anything?  Mendes and release clause in Nelson's contract said to be involved.

I think Murphy's mum is from the North east, and dressed them in toon babygros before they had a choice about it.

And reading between the lines about Howson, Webber used the phrase "No player is bigger than a club, and everything we do, we do for the club" so I wonder if Jonny boy was maybe getting a bit too big for his boots.

Unless he has a release clause, which wouldn't be the fault of Webber but yet another huge mistake from the previous regime. 

That said, I'd love to see Chris Martin here if the club can bring itself to sign one older player.... give him the armband, the new Grant Holt.

Apparently Nelson's agent is Jorge Mendes, the man advising Wolves on transfers. If Nelson does have the rumoured release clause then Mendes would know exactly what it is, as he would have negotiated it.

To be fair as Morty said there is a picture floating about of the two of them wearing Newcastle babygro's when they were little. Whether that means they actually support Newcastle or not I don't know.

Howson is an odd one to be fair that he wanted to just up sticks and leave all of a sudden, however he has said things since suggesting he's wanted it since in and around the time Neil was sacked, though I don't think the two things are related. 

Dorrans is understandable, and to be honest Murphy has just had his head turned by a Premier League club, and if he genuinely is a Newcastle fan then I would almost say fair enough. I do really think it is in his best interests a lot more than ours in a way to stay here for at least another season. He'll develop a lot more by playing regularly here, as I can't see him being quite up for the Premier League just yet.
