That was Delia's cry when she wanted to hear the fans.

Well the boot is on the other foot now - the fans need to hear from Delia and soon. Ok she is the owner and gets to make the decisions that we must all accept. Fair enough. However there are tens of thousands of stakeholders with a big emotional stake in Norwich City. Good management says you need to communicate and consult with stakeholders. So come on Delia, the current slump means its time for you and the CEO to communicate with your stakeholders. We all want what is best for Norwich City after all.

If not you would be wise to anticipate that you will get feedback, whether you have consulted or not, at the next homegame.

I am guessing that right now, why they are not communicating is because they believe it shows support of the Manager. But you are right, so many who support the team at all levels need to be considered and there needs to be at the very least an official statement, even if its in support of AN.

I am so disappointed in our owners, who I respect enormously, on this one, and feel that they have really dropped the ball both in terms of the communication (in the hands of the CEO I guess, who they need to kick up the arse) and also on not releasing AN by now, it really doesnt make any sense at all. 

Even on highlights you could see so much wrong yesterday, particularly in terms of effort and organisation, and team selection and one of the substitutions were questionable to say the least.

There is time (just enough) to rescue the season if action is taken within the next week, even if a caretaker has to be in place temporarily......as  my guess is that the majority of the players have had enough of AN.

"IF" action is taken within the next week, then My respect for our owners will be partly restored, if not, then I feel that they will have lost the plot and my confidence in them will never be restored ....he should have gone at the end of last season in my opinion, but has been allowed to mismanage what is a very decent squad to the point of embarrassing under performance, I have stopped listening to him now. OTBC    

Oh one thing that I wish wasnt happening, is the abusive stuff going on, some "supporters" need to grow up,

I also thought he should have gone last season. During January, but definitely by the end. But I was prepared to see how he went in the championship. I felt right from the start that our success was despite our performances and that the results would turn against us as I couldn't see the performances becoming better. They have steadily declined to the point we find ourselves in now, and it is embarrassing that the board are inactive. I don't buy any stories about compensation being the reason to keep him as that is false economy when things are in such a decline. As for the compensation figures mentioned elsewhere (in the region of £7M) I struggle to believe that even Delia and Michael are that bad at drawing up contracts. Regardless, he needs to go and they can argue the money afterwards. 

I suspect there will be a toxic atmosphere at Carrow Rd next home game as soon as anything goes wrong, and I'm afraid I can't agree with Dubai as I think those fans shelling out hundreds of pounds each year have a right to voice their displeasure. I find it absolutely disgraceful that my season ticket money is being wasted on players not worthy of their contracts or ones not being played because AN is a petty minded fool who cannot man manage these players effectively. He keeps faith with those who continually play badly and ignores others who have one bad game (Canos, Laffs) and why is Klose still on the bench in favour of Bassong? Disgraceful. And these are just the tip of the iceberg. So I most likely will voice my displeasure at the end of the game if things play out as they have recently. Even if we win, it is still time to make the change. We have had two false dawns recently, and each one sets us back two to three more games as some.of our fanbase suddenly forget the poor performances and the arrogance of the manager throughout. You only have to listen to recent interviews to see how he shifts the blame away from himself EVERY time. I personally cannot stand the bloke now and if I feel that way, how many players feel the same? I've become rather dispassionate about City over this period to the point where I have even considered giving up my season ticket (which is crazy when you consider the fact that I moved to my current flat so I could live next to the ground, and travelled to Norwich from London every home game for years as it meant that much to me). I know I will renew as my love for the yellow and green runs deeper than any passing employee, but I dispose those responsible for the current mess and my own ambivalence.

So they have put out Moxey with a quick interview. On Youtube NCFC television.

Basically we all need to keep calm and carry on. We are a community football club and do not follow the pack when it comes to football decisions like when to sack the manager. The manager still has the backing of the board and they are looking to him to turn it round, starting with 3 points against Brentford.

OK its a plus that they have communicated, even though it is nothing more than anticipated. We all could have written the script.

A lot of faith seems to be being put in getting something out of the Brentford game. Another defeat and surely the crowd will turn big time the moment anything adverse happens at the Derby game. I wonder what they will say then! Actually no I think I can guess ' keep calm and carry on.

I swear to God if we miss out on him I will be absolutely livid.

Rowett looks best for us but only in a very weak field of candidates;   his profile is very similar to Alex Neil but Rowett has no experience of the pressure of expectation or level of senior players here.   My biggest concern with him is his agricultural style of football,  but everyone is usually happy as long as we are winning.

Livid?  no - but is narrows the field further but its clear we wont act until next year;   I have suspected the Derby game was decision point for some time;  nearly a two week between league fixtures allowing time for dismissal, appointment and prep for an away game - as well as assessing squad needs with Ricky M and his sub-serviants. 

The inconsequential cup game can just let the players tick over.

Well between Rowett, Hodgson or Neil, Neil is still the best bet imo. Hodgson can only at best be described as a step sideways, and I´d say Rowett is actually a step backwards. He´s not yet proven at Championship level, let alone Premier level, Neil has at least proved he can get a club out of this division. And as for Roy, well does anyone really believe he would have come anywhere near a club like ours, if he hadn´t been chums with Delia?
