Realistically we probably need to sell to have any chance of competing in this league. Difficult to see how else we can buy the strikers we need, and suspect Webber will want to allocate a proportion of the proceeds to offer sweeteners to a few high earners, e.g. Naismith.

When I hear Madders talk, he usually seems to keep his options open, not committing himself one way or the other.
He obviously knows that sooner or later he will move to a 'bigger' club, but it's fair to say, he's made all the right noises while he's been here and given of his best on the pitch. Can't fault him for that, just hope that when he does go, he'll get enough game time and coaching to move up to the next level yet again.
No point comparing him to any particular great player, but he's obviously got potential to make a big impact on the game and reach the very top.

Just hope it is quick, for the right value, he fulfills his potential whether it is at Palarse or Liverpool (I dont care which is the price is right) and that we squad strengthen well.

Quick is good in that it gives us time to get new players in and adjust mentally etc. However, sell him to the first bidder and we will always wonder if someone would have paid silly money for him later in the transfer window when teams get desperate.
