At the end of the day in pretty much every transfer the buying and selling people both make out they got a good deal for their club.

Whatever we get for AP we'll be told it was on our terms etc etc

I just start typing and before I know it I've written a small novel aha.

And yeah, if we don't need to sell this window then unless we get offered far more than he's worth, then he'll still be here come February 1st. Somehow that I don't think that'll be the case.

Going back to previous point, the day the club, or any club for that matter tell fans the truth, particularly about finances, imo, hell will have frozen over, which no doubt will have been proved by the end of the month.

Frankly Bob, the exact nitty gritty of finances is none of our business. No other company in a different line of work would reveal to its employees or competitors, detail that could be detrimental to business. However nothing is truly hidden, Norwich City is a PLC, and accounts are lodged at Companies house every year, so if there was any dodgy dealings, the truth would out. And, as far as I know (and I know people that analyse these accounts to the nth degree) no dodgy dealings have ever come to light from the club.

So we really have no reason to mistrust them.

Oh aye I know you weren't implying anything, but you would be very surprised just how many people genuinely believe that Delia is going home every day with her handbag stuffed full of 20 pound notes! But in negotiations you should never really show your hand, if the whole footballing world thinks we are broke, they will swoop in and pi$$ right up our leg. End of the day everyone has a price, even Coutinho.

Sky Sports reporting that Huddersfield have made an improved offer of 11m. I thought we knew this yesterday?

TRANSFER LATEST | So Alex Pritchard... Sky are now confirming Huddersfield Town's improved bid, saying it's £11m and likely to be rejected unless Norwich City FC reduce their valuation - not really sure how that last point works? Also not convinced their actual bid is that high. But from where I'm sitting, I do think City will reject the bid. I'd imagine they want a bit over the £10m initial fee they got for Jacob Murphy joining Newcastle in the summer - so maybe £12m as a minimum? I also have a feeling Pritchard really wants the move to happen, which will play its part in the shifting sands. Still a bit to play out here.

11m will be a next to nothing profit on him so you'd hope its more. Especially if spurs have a sell on (would be massively surprising if they dont)
