As long as we avoid defeat at St James Park tomorrow, it is more than likely AN will get manager of the month. Do you think this will be a good thing and silence his critics or will it be the kiss of death for Saturday as the winners of said award more often than not lose their next game?

He must be well in the running.

I doubt it will change the mind of anyone, there seems to be two camps just now, the "We're top of the league, he's not doing that bad" and the "I'm not entirely convinced by our performances yet".

I think even if we get promoted, some will still have doubts.
