Looking very much like Ole has gone from Cardiff now, and the point about is it justified or not is certainly debatable. He has won two, drawn two and lost three, I have seen worse records.

How do we think our board would react were circumstances similar?

Lots said we hung onto Hughton too long last season, would they be swifter to act this time, as a result?

Would you want them to? Could the fans be quick to turn if the form dropped?

In seriousness way too early if true, but always good to see a rival in trouble!

Was always surprised to see him go to work for a quite clearly mental owner when he had apparently ignored interest from other PL clubs in the past, hope the money was worth it.

Now Adams (mickey) has left Port Vale, Arsene Wenger is by a generation, the longest serving manager. The next is Paul Tisdale, a club owned by its supporters and they don't own their ground or training facilities and could go out of the league once again this season.

Hughton really only had himself to blame because of his scared attitude but it didn't help that the players were awful as well. He must have thought RVW was a masterstroke and we were heading for the Europa League! And in many cases, the manager is sacked but players remain.

And don't feel too sorry for them. They can't wait to take over the seat vacated by someone else.

Hardly surprising that either of them have gone. Doesn't help that both of them have clueless foreign owners, but both of them had awful records and it this has been inevitable for a while.

I think a few more managers would've gone earlier as well if certain clubs weren't so cash strapped. I think that Freedman and Clark at Bolton and Birmingham would've gone by now if each club had enough money.

I don't think Hughton will get the job. If you look at the new owner so far he's appointed Meulensteen and Magath. Hardly obvious managerial appointments, Premier League or not. I think they'll go for someone more obscure than Hughton.

I hope Hughton doesn't get the job. He's proven that he's a very good manager at this level, and the chances of Fulham beating us (which are already pretty high, as they seem to be our bogey team), would probably be increased if they had an ex-manager in charge.

Felix, or the German 'Arry, is known for his dodgy transfer dealings. His ability to sign masses of average players for a lot of money and then lay them once or twice before loaning them out really is staggering.

Was quite interesting how the English media painted him as some great manager when he was somewhat a laughingstock in Germany.

Now as for Hughton going there, it would make sense. He would settle the back line down and you would imagine with those forwards they will score enough to get into the top half.

I'm not sure why everyone persists with the villification of Tan. Surely after the truth emerged about Malky and his mate it's necessary to revise opinion. Yes, he messed around with the kit, but I think you'll find that most Cardiff fans now back him, particularly after the amount he spent in the summer. Solksjaer's overall record was awful, but what ultimately did for him was an inability to change games due to his tactical rigidity (ring any bells ;-) )

Magath was always a daft appointment. His reputation as a dictatorial tyrant goes before him and the reports of his preseason programme suggest that it did nothing to help him to get the players onside. Clearly it should be possible to get more from that Fulham squad.

A quick look around various Cardiff forums will show this is false, they are still very unhappy at how their club is being run. Also all the money he's put in has been loans, which he claimed he would turn into equity, but as yet hasn't.
