Memo to the red tops.

What does it matter what the pundits say? Them saying we were lucky or Bournemouth played poorly or whatever makes absolutely no difference to the result or the number of points we take from the game. I also doubt very much that anything a journalist or pundit says will have any effect on our performance next game. So let them put whatever spin they want to on the result and understand that they are all about readers and ratings, so will tell the story of a match in a way that will gain them the biggest possible audience. Just ignore them and get on with enjoying the football.

It is all about the angle the news want to take. Today's Times barely mentions Wes and focuses on Matt Jarvis. It prefers the reinvigorated star with new club angle. Perfectly reasonable story but not how many of us would have described the game in those terms.

I don't think the red tops are too much different from the arrogant broadsheets. Football is news and the news is now censored by polarising it toward their own agenda. And to be fair, last season they ignored us because of they had nothing to develop until the farce of the Adams appointment.

And to be honest. I imagine most of the Carrow Road faithful don't have the need to feel liked or wanted by Salford or Wapping, they don't even like Archant, and would rather be ignored than derided.

What rankles me with the national media is should we do well at Liverpool, it'll be down to their failings and not our football ability.

I know it shouldn't bug me.............but it does!

To be fair, if we do beat that Liverpool it's likely they wouldn't have been at their best. Would imagine they'd talk about AN's rise and probably his win at Celtic last season.

Until we have stayed in this division for a few years and taken the bigger clubs to the wire on enough occasions, perhaps like the aforementioned Swansea, then it wouldn't be just journalists who would think it was down to the oppositions failures rather than our good play.
