thanks to the local press. Makes interesting reading and confirms much of what was suspected earlier in the season re. bonuses.

This bit sticks out for me:

"The accounts also reveal how last season;s signings, including ltop scorer Cameron Jerome, Lewis Grabban, Kyle Lafferty, Gary O’Neil, Carlos Cuellar, Connor McGrandles, Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, Ignasi Miguel, Louis Thompson and Tony Andreu cost a combined £14.1m to buy in transfer fees"

We know some of the transfer fees:

Cameron Jerome £1.5m

Lewis Grabban £3m

Gary O'Neil £0

Carlos Cuellar £0

Connor McGrandles £1m

Ignasi Miquel £1.5m

Louis Thompson £600k

Tony Andreu £1m

We never knew how much Lafferty cost and some were estimating £5m, which I always felt was a ludicrious suggestipm, but looks like we paid £5.5m for Vadis and Lafferty, so £2.5m to £3m for Lafferty is a possibility.

If we failed to win promotion then we'd quite rightfully be pointing out that we didn't invest very well, but we did win promotion so I guess that's a moot point.

Perhaps the biggest (and most pleasant) surprise is that the loss wasn't even greater. Having lost £40m in TV revenues, I was expecting the loss to have been much greater.
