Right, I am proposing a truce from all the bitching and sniping and name calling and trolling that we had on the Pink Un.

We have a great new forum which puts the other to shame.  So can we all please just talk about the topics posted and refrain from all the petty crap.

Some has already been dealt with, and it will continue to be dealt with, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'll second that! Proper discussions about football without the petty slagging!

That's good to hear Morty! Not going the way of the Pink'un site then. (I'm Yelloow since 72 over there).

Guys I'm going to move this thread in a minute. Whilst we all appreciate the sentiment, we don't need to labour the point, its already being discussed in the welcome thread. Nobody needs to worry about any nonsense here, there simply won't be any, and it will be dealt with swiftly if there is.

I'm in the process of writing some terms of service, and new community guidelines, so that everybody knows where they stand.

I am particularly keen to make 'multiple forum identities' a bannable offence, and will be running IP addresses through the system to ensure that people are sticking to one account at a time.

The problem the PinkUn had was people who were banned simply re-joined using a different e-mail address. Can this be overcome?

Yes, users can be blocked by IP, and unblocked by IP.
