Funny how things change.  Last time I went there was the evening game in the Champ under Lambert.  We tore them to bits, won 3-2, and Leicester fans I spoke to after the game said we were the best team they played that season.  Away support rocked.

I'm expecting a Hammer Horror story type of game with us letting in at least six!

Wouldn't go that far, but I think we'll be well beaten. They are everything we cannot deal with, namely, pace on the counter.

I agree that we'll most likely lose, but dont think Leicester are as great as people make them out to be at home, lets not forget they drew 0-0 with bournemouth there a couple of weeks ago, wouldn't actually mind losing so long as we have a go at them and not just go there and try and get a point

They nicked it at our place,  and I feel we have a chance doing the same to them.......but  I am going for a hard fought point

Not the slightest bit optimistic to be honest, I expect us to look out of our depth against a fitter, stronger and faster team who will be looking to bounce back strong after their Arsenal defeat, and for Vardy to steamroll through our back four just like Harry Kane did when we played Spurs.

Would be a good time for the players to prove me wrong and grab a point, I may start believing in our ability to stay up again if we do, we've had a two week break for the new players to integrate further in training so now or never really.

They haven't lost at home in the league since September and that was against Arsenal.

Not particularly optimistic at all really. Whilst I would like to see us go for it we run the huge risk of getting smashed if we commit too many forwards, as Leicester will pick us off on the counter every time. Although I hate to be negative, I think our only real chance of getting something is to play a deep line so that Leicester can't get in behind us, and then hit them on the counter with pace with the likes of Jerome, Redmond, Brady and Olsson. Either way I can't see us getting anything.

Team I'd go for:

Ruddy
Pinto Klose Bassong Olsson
Redmond O'Neil Tettey Howson Brady
Jerome
Subs: Rudd, Martin, Dorrans, Jarvis, Hoolahan, Naismith, Mbokani.

I don't think either Redmond, Pinto or Olsson will play. Instead I think we're more likely to see Martin right back, Brady left back, Howson on the right wing, Hoolahan on the left and then Naismith in behind Jerome.

3-1 Leicester. I'd like to see Leicester win the league but ultimately if I got offered a point now I'd grab it.

If we play as we did v west ham we will be far too open and will conceded to their incisive pacy attack and will concede yet we have repeatedly shown that if we sit deep we cant defend well enough and will concede

As solid deepish 451 defending from the front is probably the way ahead and hope we can play as we did at Man u an survive.   A point would be great,  like others expecting a defeat.  Naismith starting in wes position for me for that extra physicality and to have wes fresh for tuesday.

For me

Ruddy

Pinto Klose Bassong Brady

Redmond ONeill Naismith Tettey Howson

Jerome

Subs

Rudd, Martin, Olsson, Dorrans, Hoolahan, Bamford, Mbokani

I know they've got a good record at home, but they just don't thrash teams at home so I don't know where people seem to think we'll lose 5/6-0 come from, I think they've only scored 7 in their last 5 home games, not to say our away record compares to theirs at home as we all no its bloody terrible, but I just feel Leicester are more suited to playing away with their quick counter attacking style

It is all about keeping tight line and having good supoort for our CB's. No nonsense defending and fast counters with 4 players should be the tactic.

Keeping the ball and bringing everyone forward will just make our defence crumble in the pieces again and they are very good at defending when they have time to get organized.

So Redmond and Brady/Jarvis at wings and Naismith/Bamford as striker for me and both Tettey and O'Neil as midfielders wit either Hoolahan or Howson front of them.

Exactly how I see it, except not sure about Naismith as a lone striker.    But if we're going to play him, I think we need 5 in midfield behind him to accommodate Wes, so I'd go with it.

Interesting reading suggestions that indicate playing players in their natural positions, do not bank on it !

I remember that game very well, i've got to say it was not only the best team we played that season, it was also still one of the best away performances ive seen at home.

Interesting post on their forum:

"Norwich will probably target the right back as being the weakest link due to not being our regular 1st teamer,if it is DA he could be in for a tough debut"

That says that we should really be playing Brady at left wing seeing as he's by far the trickiest customer?

I have a feeling Alex Neil will go with Wes out wide again though and Brady at left back.

Lots of their fans seem to think we are going to "park the bus", they really don't know us do they, we've done that literally once all season and that was at Man City.

We don't have a good enough defense to try and play like a Tony Pulis Stoke team and grind out 1-0's, I wish we did.
