Wouldnt be too upset to see something like this. Always a risk leaving out your best players and rotating, but at home against the second weakest side in the division it could be worth the risk to keep our big hitters fresh. You could also, however, say that the job needs doing and play your best side and ignore the idea of resting. Just think we have the largest squad in the division, and this tough run should be where we utilize it. If not these games, when could we afford to rest anyone?  Unfortunately, when we've played our fringe players, we've generally come a cropper

                       Ruddy

Whittaker Martin Bassong Olsson

                       Vadis

Redmond/Bennett Andreu Howson/O'Neil Dorrans

                      Hooper

I'd be very worried if we go with Hooper alone up front as we've looked ineffective when we've done that.

I think we'll start with Grabban told he"ll come off after 60 mins and then go with Jerome & Hooper if we still need goals.

Any chance of a stream?

Potential banana skin here. I was quite confident yesterday but today I'm not sure. I'm gonna say 1-1.

I'd assume, Grabban is just being rested, I hope to see both Murphy and Morris given a run out as long as we're a couple in front

Dont mind that line-up. Would like to have seen Vadis or Andreu involved though

Sensible attacking lineup. I guess Grabban is rested because he's run all out for quite a few games now. Fingers crossed !

On paper there are some good players in that Wigan team.

Morris favoured above Loza. Interesting - good to see him on the bench

How good would an early goal be? Longer Wigan keep us out, the more the pressure will mount and the more they'll feel they have something to protect. Early goal would skittle any shut up shop gameplan.

Just remember that feeling you got in the Premier League when we played away and conceded early and the gameplan was undone almost straight away. That is how we need to make Wigan feel now
