So everybody has gone for Pinto. On merit or because as a new signing he will get played?

In my view he still needs to get up to speed and has not made our RB berth any more solid. I would prefer a more experienced head there for this important game - probably Russ.

Russ is too slow for being RB. That is reason he wants to play CB.

Pinto - Bennett - Klose - Olsson

        Howson - O'Neil - Brady

          Naismith - Hoolahan

                     Mbokani

This would be my cup of tea. Or taking Mbokani or Naismith off and bring Redders

EDIT: Rudd, Martin, Klose, Bassong, Brady, O'Neil, Mulumbu, Howson, Naismith, Hoolahan, Mbokani

Have to say that I'm not happy at all. No wingers and Martin+Bassong at the back four. This one goes for AN if Martin or Bassong do invidual error or Howson adn Hoolahan cant get into game.

Anyway again I get what he is trying and last time we comfortable beated AV with similar formation.

Well there is games left, but it is first time I truly question AN. We have had the game in our hands, but players seem to not know what to do at last third.

And then we give so cheap goal once again.

EDIT: Great passing guys and great goalkeeping.

Sadly Rudd has completely lost his confidence and composure so it's time to bring Ruddy back. Can't see that saving us from relegation though.

Yeah not sure why he didn't drop Rudd after the Liverpool game. He makes our wobbly defence even more nervous.

Pretty much over today, we are going to be relegated, I have less hope now than when Hughton was in charge.

Also to draw picture why we havent been our best.

Starting eleven

                       Mbokani

                            Naismith

                  Hoolahan

Brady               Howson

               O'Neil

      Bassong-Klose.      Martin

These are natural positions of the players. No wonder we are easy to defend and we stuggle to find passing lanes.

Changing Redmond in was right choise, but Bamford for our playmaker made it even worse. Not that Bamford would have been poor, but we simple had no creativity.

I bet next time we trail I see 3 centreforwards and Naismith at the field. When managers learn that ammount of strikers on field doesnt mean anything if they dont get the ball at goal scoring areas.

I could even envisage us finishing 20th now.

We may as well sign Grant Holt for a laugh.

Villa have got more chance of staying up than we do.

Today's result means that we've conceded more goals than any other league in the team, and have the joint worst goal difference.

Klose doesn't seem like an upgrade on Bennett. Very similar players in fact.

So much wrong today if I want to jar everyone off and pick on our Manager...........but I dont want to do that because it was there for all to see, that squad just isnt as bad as today and thats what is really frustrating me!

Why have we finished up like this a laughing stock, what makes me angry is we shouldn't have got to this point what the heck is going on, someone somewhere must have the answer!!

Incidentally, do we have anyone other than Gary O'Neill for taking corners? His corners were dire today.

Its simple, drop the ever useless lump Mobakani and bring Jerome in to partner Naismith and loan Martin to Gorleston!

Mbokani was close to our best player yesterday, not that it took much. Save the bull for the pinkun please Wiz

cant agree with that fenway;   mbokani impresses me less each game;  making us play a long ball game,  wins less that 50% of his headers,  heavily one footed and cant hold the ball up for his colleagues and offers no better goal threat but with less defensive contribution.

He has suffered from any service but nothing I have seen suggests he is good for the team let alone worth changing our tactics for. One to return to kiev in may.
