Tough one this, Coventry have made a good start, but we seem better away from home so far, so I think we could get something from this.

No news on who has come back from international duty fit or not, but I did see that Jack Stacey is back training, oh and Josh has been nominated for player of the month!

My first away game of the season!

Offer me a point now and I’ll gladly take it to be honest. They’ve started well so will be interesting to see how we go.
I’ve also never been to the new ground (well, not that new anymore). Went to Highfield Road years ago, just remember Coventry in general being a slum I’m surprised the Luftwaffe wasted good bombs on it

Oh and Sargent player of the month, and rightly so.

How on earth did we manage to keep him?

I know a Cov fan and apart from the win against QPR they haven't been that convincing, but yeah, I'd take a draw too.

I think my Cov supporting mate is the glass half empty type of supporter :)

Always a bit shit to concede late but probably would have taken a point before the game.

Game management felt okay, and we limited them to very few clear cut chances.

I reckon we are happier with the point than they are.

That was a really tough watch. Horrible. I could maybe accept such tactics if we were playing Liverpool in a cup final, but it's Coventry, with only mid table positions at stake, at the start of the season. Dreadful stuff from start to finish.

A difficult watch but made interesting in seeing if unbelievably, we could hold out. And we couldn't of course. However, defended as if their lives depended on it which was good to see after last season.

Time wasting seems to be a thing with this Manning team. Still unsure of Manning and moreso, his tactics. Don't really want to watch us play this kind of football all season but will give it 'til November to see if we settle. Those xG tables are very negative and especially after yesterday's match. If they predict anything like what might happen ahead we have a difficult season in front of us. But...still only a few games in and a bit of patience needed (which isn't a strong point for me).

End of the day Coventry are bang in form, and we have come away with a point. Yes, it is still only a few games in, and about 75% of the first team are new, but I do think we need a bit more positivity, and ultimately wins, at home, to settle folk down.

I'm not pushing any panic buttons just yet.

Yeah, that's about where I am. It was asking too much that we started the season like a train.
Wrexham will be an interesting test for us. But I expect 3 points and that should put us in around 8th and nicely placed.

I know the start hasn't been the best, but I am pretty shocked as to just how quickly pants have dampened.
