Klose off on a stretcher, that really is not good news

Don't think it was a penalty tbh. Think Jarvis made the most of it.

Klose off because of injury, not good at all. We haven't played badly so far though.

He's the last person we'd want to be carried off on a stretcher right now.

my thoughts exactly, any other player you feel we could cover, but Klose is our best defender by an absolute mile, lets just hope its precautionary and he'll be ok for the sunderland game next week

Bamford on, lets hope he can show Palace what they're missing out on, I know if it was the other way round he'd bloody score against us

we put up a decent fight today, and we're unlucky as I feel we deserved a point, I'm actually not that concerned about the result as long as Sunderland lose to Leicester tomorrow, much more concerned with the Timm Klose injury situation, desperately hope he's fit for next weekend

The way the season is going I'd be backing Sunderland tomorrow. Would massively increase the pressure on next week's game.

Hope that Klose injury isn't bad.

Sunderland getting to play the day after ourselves and newcastle both lose must give them a huge psychological advantage, lets just hope that leicester can do us a favour tomorrow

We were decent today, but Palarse didnt look anything special, so I am disappointed big time after last weeks gutsy showing.....and Bamford looked shocking or did I imagine it?

Dunno about decent, both teams very much looked like teams at the bottom of the league. Decent performances from Bennett, the central midfield pair and Jarvis. Bamford didn't get into the game but Mbokani and Naismith weren't much better. Felt like a game for Jerome but I can understand why he put on Bamf. Can't really complain about the result, they edged it.

Think a 0-0 probably would've been fair, but ultimately Palace produced one moment of quality in the entire game, whereas we didn't.

Both sides looked pretty nervous. We had a spell in the first half where we looked the better team, and after they scored we applied a bit of pressure, but we never really made Hennessey work too hard today. The quality in the final 3rd was often poor, with Naismith and particularly Brady being mostly responsible. We had a few good performers, Bennett was pretty solid throughout, although noticably look more confident with Klose next to him. Howson and O'Neil both played well in the middle of the park as well. Apart from that I don't think you could claim anyone had a good game. We'll also have to pray Klose is fine for next week. Neil did say it was precautionary in his post-match interview.

As long as Sunderland lose to Leicester tomorrow then I won't be too gutted about this. Newcastle now are doomed so if we can beat Sunderland next week, and put a 7 point gap between us, you would think the current bottom 3 will be as good as down. It does feel like an opportunity missed today though. Palace weren't that good, and if we had taken advantage of that we could've really dragged them into the mix.

Reminded me of the Villa and Swansea (and probably other away games against fellow strugglers) where we just didn't seem to have anything about us. AN has got to get the boys firing better for these games.

It's hard for any team in City's position to win three in a row.

It's even harder to win four in a row and arguably, if we were going to lose one, I would prefer to win against Sunderland and lose against Palace.

Let's hope Leicester get their job done today.

I thought we were much better than vs Villa and Swansea to be honest.

well it seems despite the loss, we end the weekend better off than when we started it, only just but with Sunderland losing by two goals, we are now a goal better off than we were at the start of the weekend and with one less game for Sunderland to catch us, still feel if we beat them we are all but safe, I'm going to be bricking it come 12.45 next saturday though
