Yes our Manager is certainly a class act, cant help but be impressed, best I finish eating that humble pie before I get to Wembley.

Also, hadnt realised just what a classy assist Redmond's goal was by Howson until I watched the highlights again

Team for the game?

For me:

Ruddy
Whittaker Martin Bassong Olsson
Redmond Howson Tettey Johnson
Hoolahan
Jerome

Subs: Rudd, R.Bennett, O'Neil, Dorrans, E.Bennett, Hooper, Grabban.

Same team that played the 2nd leg against Ipswich. I think Middlesbrough are likely to play quite an attacking game, and therefore if we take out Redmond/Hoolahan and put Dorrans in we're effectively saying that we're just going to sit back and try and soak up Boro pressure and then try and hit them on the counter with Jerome, which I don't think will work, as I can't see us holding them off defensively for too long, and if we were to go behind in this game then we saw how hard it was at Carrow Road to get ourselves back in the game. So I would keep the same team and have more of a go at them, which we haven't done in either of our 2 games against them so far this season. I'd bring Grabban back onto the bench but if we need a goal then I think the better option would be Hooper. No doubt he's a great as someone to have off the bench though.

I had a vision earlier that we'd win 2-1 with Johnson and Hooper scoring for us, however I don't want to jinx it so I am going to stick with my original prediction and say that we'll lose. 2-0 Boro.

Similar team to Din, but I think Dorrans instead of Redmond. The lad is in great form, but I would want his fresh legs, especially if we go to extra time.

Keep it solid, do not let Boro score first, no matter what!

The Barclay end projekt had a conference call with some folks today, and have the following to pass on :-

Fans are advided, wherever possible, to start arriving around 11am, and be in the ground by 2, to help build the atmosphere and avoid queues.

Pubs in the vicinity of the stadium will close 1 hour before kickoff. The whole borough around the stadium is a controlled drinking area, for the entire day.

Flags and banners are permissable, as long as not deemed offensive. Some leeway is given to sizes that fall outside guidelines.

In addition to the standard train schedule there will be specials at 07:40, 08:40 and 09:40. And after the game at 19:54, 20:24 and 20:54. Prices similar to regular trains.

This is ridiculous, I'm getting emotional already! I know I'm going to well up when I see the players came out at five to three on Monday.

Info here about coaches, and all sorts of other stuff. Most important points being there is no car parking at County Hall, and parking at Wembley itself is sold out.

What is it with Norwich fans and the destruction of their tickets? Didn't one woman burn 16 of her sons tickets before a game earlier this season? (Think it was Brighton) :D

Let's not be so predictable and play into Middlesbroughs hands. They'll expect us to play one up front, nice and easy to defend and allow them to attack us at will. I hope AN puts out a more attacking side, like below, and put the fear into the Middlebroughs defence. Once we're comfortable, take Jerome and Hoolahan off and replace with O'neil and Dorrans, easy :)

I think trying to spring tactical changes for a final usually backfires. Just stops your team playing to their strengths and upsets the rhythm of the team. Just think about SAF deciding to play the worlds most effective winger up front on his own against Barcelona in the CL final. Seriously backfired that one...

For me

                     Ruddy

Whittaker Martin Bassong Olsson

                     Tettey

   Redmond Howson Johnson

                  Hoolahan

                   Jerome

Wes to carve them open if they play a deep line. Redmond to exploit the space if they dont. Tettey to keep it solid, Howson to set the rhythm, and BJ to do what he's been doing all season. Jerome to lead the line like he's done all season.

As it stands we're in a fortunate position that we can play our best team. Let Boro worry about us. No guts, no glory
