Absolutely ridiculous game genuinely can't remember a game that we've won that was quite as mental as that.
Firstly, the officiating was an absolute shambles. Millwall's first goal came from a free kick which should never have been given. The Millwall player puts his head down to boot height to head the ball, and Stiepermann is penalised for a high foot? Ridiculous. Also what on Earth was that offside decision for our disallowed goal all about. Nowhere near offside. All game as well so many good or 50/50 challenges that the ref got completely wrong.
What un utterly mad game though. We weren't particularly good first half but we didn't deserve to be losing. 2nd half, and in particular from the 79th minute onwards, was just incredible. The absolute scenes when Pukki scored
could literally write an essay on todays game. That's what football is all about (apart from for the couple who sit along from me, who left at 3-2!).
Tettey and Klose the outstanding players for me. Not our best performance of recent weeks but certainly the most memorable game. Top of the league going into the international break (ps fuck the international break) and I couldn't be happier with how we're going at the moment.

Tettey was immense today. Farke has managed to get an extra 5% out of him. And miraculously cured his dodgy knees.

I'm not claiming any kind of "I told you so" but we have been playing decent football all season, it just wasn't quite clicking to begin with, but the signs were there. I'd say it has definitely clicked now lol.
