He might play in the Premier League but not for a big hitter.
Yeah but we've all seen his quality since and people haven't started talking about him going on to play at the very top.Pritchard is a bit of an unfair example because he had a serious ankle injury early into his West Brom loan, if he hadn't had that injury then I doubt he would have been dropping back down to this level when he signed for us... basically missed out on his big chance to prove his Premier League credentials.
I disagree. His CV is that of someone who was good enough to play for the best teams alongside the best players.I shouldn't have used Beckham as an example because his CV is flattering. He had a PR firm, a stylist, and a celebrity WAG, and built a global brand. But he wasn't a world class player.
And there are also top quality players who for whatever reason end up with CV's which don't do them justice, like Le Tissier who turned down top 4 sides.I disagree. His CV is that of someone who was good enough to play for the best teams alongside the best players.
I'll reserve judgement until I know your opinion on Jacob Murphy :lol:Anyway, I am in the minority of people who haven't got as excited about Maddison.
But I was also in the minority who liked the look of Kane.
So we'll see.
My verdict on that at the time was a desperation buy from Newcastle.I'll reserve judgement until I know your opinion on Jacob Murphy
Mine is that he has got no chance of making it in the Premier League unless he finds a bit of bottle, and I don't think he will.
We'll there you go, something we agree on.My verdict on that at the time was a desperation buy from Newcastle.
I've already bookmarked it in readiness.Agreed Din, me and GJP are being a bit silly. Although one of us could bump this in a few years for bragging rights.
