Much harder game than Tuesday night, Preston are actually in decent form, not too dissimilar to our own.

We could really do with something from this, while a few other midweek results went our way, things can change quickly.

DW on Liam Gibbs: “He has a serious quad injury and will be out for the rest of the season. He will see a specialist in London this week to see if he needs a surgery.”

Josh Sargent a doubt for Saturday after going off against Sheffield Wednesday. He could not train today (Explains his substitution the other night, but I hope this is mind games) He played a lot of 90 minutes in the past and Tuesday night he felt his quad, so we got him off. We have more games coming and hopefully more, so we have to be smart as to when we use players.”

DW: “We never took injuries as an excuse and never looked to the left and the right. We take on the next challenge.”

DW on Sorensen: “He is not back in team training.”

Jon Rowe more likely to be involved against Bristol City. “We have to assess him, but he made good first steps in training.”

Sheffield Wednesday... "We didn't put the game to bed and we had enough chances to do so."

On the rest of the squad... "Batth has done great to support and back us, Duffy looks fresh again and is ready for Saturday.

DW on Preston: “We know what we will face. If there is one proper British team in the Championship then it’s Preston. They are a top team and compete for the playoffs. It’s a big challenge for us. It's another big challenge, which we have experienced a few in recent weeks and months. "I ask us to do what we have done previously. Speak less, work more. They are in a different position now. We look forward to playing this away game. David Wagner expects a different game at Deepdale to that #NCFC faced at Carrow Road.

DW: “The guys faced a lot of big games home and away, they competed and won a lot of them. Nothing is decided after Saturday, but we are in the middle of the race.”

DW on Sara POTM nomination: “This is a testament to the quality they have, especially when playing out of position. Gabby deserves this.”

On Sydney van Hooijdonk... "The only thing he can do is impress in training and this is what he does, so big credit for him, and wait for the moment where he can get minutes. "This will come, when it will come maybe on Saturday, maybe the week after."

Sarge in the starting lineup and Rowe on the bench. Looks like Wagner was pulling our plonkers ;)

Massive win, and very well fought, Preston threw everything at us, and we really had to weather a storm.

With two home games coming up, thats the play offs cemented for me.

Oh and Rowe was fantastic when he came on.

That was a tough day for the lads, but the boys in purple, stuck to the task, and come back to Norwich with 3 points. Well done. Mr Rowe surprised me, looked really up for it, and was a breath of fresh air when he was called. No putins problems today, so was able to see full game.
