Not too harsh on Tettey, without Jerome there the keeper would have saved it easily.

Perhaps BJ should shoot with his right more often!

Despite the score, a very good half of football that.

Well I suppose that makes it easier for them to introduce Wes and Redmond. We've controlled that first half and it would be hard to change that at half-time. Now we're chasing the game perhaps we need to be a bit more risky.

Lets hope we see a Redmond/Wes master-class. If they get on...

Agree Morty. The better team with a clear strategy and looking dangerous on the break. Still good to have those options on the bench though.

In the ground I agree the disallowed goal looked right but I'm never sure what you can get away with offside when you don't touch the ball now

Their goal was route 1 ironically and against the run of play. I hope it doesn't allow them to settle down and play keep ball

Might have been allowed if Jerome wasn't just in front of the keeper.

Well that's frustrating right before half time. We've been solid defensively first half, and have been very composed when on the ball. Johnny Russell in particular has been kept very quiet by Olsson, who has been superb. Ibe is the main player causing us problems. Typical how it's Chris Martin who was influential in the build up to the goal. Russell Martin though should've been much tighter to Johnny Russell.

We certainly have options on the bench though, and as long as we don't now crumble and go 2-0 down then we can certainly get back into the game. Especially with Redmond and Wes waiting in the wings, as well as Lafferty and Grabban.

Doubt it would have gone in if he wasn't standinf there. It was the right call.

Shame when you get slapped after a good containing performance but I suppose that's what we get for leaving our most threatening players out.

i think we have contained well but cant agree we have looked dangerous on the break.   CJ & Hooper looked poor and suffered with woeful service,   we have had some hopeful shots from distance with none as a result of creative play;    even bjs early header was from a lazy hopeful cross from tettey

Howson too uninvolved - wasted wide right,  and BJ passing has been shocking (one tackle and interception having lost his player in the build up and some off target shooting not enough) and both should come off at some stage

O'Neil been excellent with Tettey;   We will need to change

You set out to contain and invite teams on with no attacking threat you design to go in at best level...

Was about to post about our goal, then they get a penalty. Typical.
