Jerome's audacious back-heel is just quite amazing. So good, he doesn't even have to celebrate! Howson's goal was also impressive with an excellent through-ball from Wes, who, like Olsson, was excellent all game.

Really good 3 points yesterday. Frustrating really that we can go and convincingly beat the likes of Forest, Watford, and Wolves with ease and yet we drop points against teams like Wigan and Huddersfield (with respect to both teams).

First half we were good without really creating any clear cut chances up until Howson's goal. Forest actually as well had a very good chance at 0-0 when Antonio went through on goal but Ruddy made a great save. Second half though I felt we cranked it up a notch and Forest couldn't really deal with it. Certainly not a bad side Forest at all, but I think they were just unlucky to come up against a Norwich team that were very much up for this. There was a spell though just after Forest's goal where they had us on the ropes a little bit, and I remember Ruddy having to make a good save from Antonio to stop it going to 3-2. Had they scored a 2nd it would've made for a very nervy ending, we held on though for a well deserved 3 points. Saw on the FLS that Freedman said that sometimes you just have to accept that the other team are better than you, and I think that was the case.

Hoolahan undoubtedly MotM. Probably one of, if not the best player in the division when he's in that sort of mood. Controlled the game and second half in particular he was fantastic. A little bit worrying now that he's going off on international duty, hopefully he comes back without injury. Also nice to hear from him after the game, I can't remember the last time he was interviewed. Thought the team though were excellent as a whole, and I even thought that Whittaker was fantastic, as was Olsson down the left. Bassong once again was superb, and I'd have those 4 players and Tettey as our best 5. Dorrans, Martin and Howson were all great as well. Thought Jerome and Johnson were both good but not as involved as usual (that said though what a finish from Jerome).

So thanks to Ipswich also doing us a favour we're now just 3 points off top again. Obviously a bit of a break now but of our next 4 are against Brighton, Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton and Leeds. 3 of them admittedly are away from home but if we can pick up a decent summation of points there then we could find ourselves in a very healthy position going into the Boro game which is looking to be huge. That said going by our season so far we probably won't win any of those 4 and then beat Boro 5-0.

Think I should just add the comment from the local paper here in Nottingham, which is biased towards Forest (similar to the EDP's bias towards City).

In their report they said it "wasn't just the better team that won on Saturday, it was a win for one of the best teams in the Championship".  Nice to have it recognised by someone with no green and yellow specs.
