I wonder if it could be a son or daughter of an employee? There's a certain naivety to the style of posting that doesn't ring right with an adult in the business, going on about it's not nice to call Hooper fat and so on and it's fair to say there's some association with reality here. I'd be asking if Bowkett remembered telling off any youngsters for mucking about in the offices at some point, or some other reason to take a dislike to him.
