NOTE: Possible Disruption Next Few Days

Hi everybody,

I think I have some good news. It involves this forum being switched from Invision to Xenforo software (which is as good, if not better), and a change of ownership. 

I'm hoping this will be complete within the next few days, there may be a period of disruption at some point. 

What this means is that NorwichTalk will be saved from closure, although it may take the new owner a few days to get the forum looking pukka again. 

I'll allow him to introduce himself when he's holding the keys. All I will say is that he is Norfolk based, is a good guy and has run Xenforo forums for many years (including some pretty big ones). 

Original plan was for me to migrate to Open Source and then offer the keys to Hogesar, but I realised just how well and truly out of depth I was when it came to forum migration (which I've never done before), and the opportunity to keep this place running on some truly premium software was too good to pass on (I am, after all, hoping to continue posting on here as a normal member!). 

I also think having an owner with no NorwichTalk baggage (like me) and no Pink'un baggage (like everybody) may be the best way to bring back a few previously active members!

Fingers crossed this all goes to plan!

Guys, theres a thread in the forum admin section for any issues, I had a bit of a mare with the verification, any problems post them there and hopefully they can be resolved. This has all been done very quickly though, we we'll have to be a bit patient!
