Just saw this. What a shame. NOW I have doubts about Adams.

Unrest in the squad after 1 game isnt a great start.

Thanks. Nice to be able to discuss all things Norwich on a modern forum and without the childish baggage of the other, older, forum..

This isnt a good sign at all. Pilkington would walk this division. A 2 footed winger, has a decent delivery and always a goal threat. Why are us fans being told "he picked up a niggle" but the player is saying "this isnt the case". Someone is lying.

He was also fit for the last 5 games of last season, his absence then also explained by Adams as an injury but later denied by Pilks himself.

Really makes you wonder how much cohesion there is at the club. We looked like we needed a fit Pilkington on the pitch today.

Not sure where he'd have fitted in to that system, though. This little episode is highly worrying. Perhaps naively, I hoped that one of the things Adams would bring to the club was a bit more cohesion and team-spirit.

This really does not reflect well on Neil. I don't like the way this is going. Why would you lie about a player having an injury? Poor.

Hes freezing players out. I remember a Colchester fan saying that about Lambert when he came here, and that certainly didnt happen. But seems to be happening here now.

That's not good. An on form Pilkington is a match winner, sadly it looks like he'll be heading for the exit door pretty sharpish.

Didn't Wes and the Doc get frozen out when he first came in ?

Perhaps there was some merit in the rumoured swap-deal for the Korean lad at Bolton? A proper RB and another CB would be far higher up my list than another wide midfielder, though.

Looks like he identified the players he felt were not in it for the team last season when he came in and has carried that into this season. We only want the players who want to be here. Adams must have his reasons as he would want these players available if possible
