Villa surely the favourites to win this now. Had to come from behind but ended up beating West Brom with Gayle also getting sent off so they'll be without him for the 2nd leg. Has to be said West Brom were solid defensively for most of the game but in possession of the ball they were absolutely horrendous. I was watching them wondering how on Earth they finished as high as 4th given some of the shocking passes and terrible decision-making. Just before Villa's equaliser they had a 2 on 1 and all Gayle has to do is slip a simple 10 yard pass into Murphy and he's through on goal, and he just played it far too casually and completely messed it up.

Anyway, Derby vs Leeds later. Gonna be tasty

To be honest I really don't want Villa to go up, just because I want a season above them so I can lord it over my Villa supporting mate. Plus he will be insufferable if they go up, which he already is even though they finished miles behind us.

I'd much rather they go up than Leeds though.

I just think Villa would end up doing pretty well and they seem to always find shitloads of cash everywhere.

Just thinking about our points total really, Villa seem to have their shit in order with a good coach, whereas Leeds will always be a complete basket case and their manager is a lunatic.

I think I want Leeds to go up just so we can laugh at them at the bottom of the league, do the double over them, and watch Leeds fans on social media getting angry and confused when the mighty sleeping giant goes straight back down.

Villa are only a couple of defenders and a keeper away from a Premier League squad, whereas Leeds are over achievers this season. Just think we should hope for the weaker one to go up, Villa will be a tougher fixture next season.

Have to say I'm a bit gutted. Have to listen to my Villa mate go on about how they're going to go up and be in Champions League within 2 years. Should be happy for him but I'm pretty spiteful tbh, he can't come in and steal some of my promotion buzz after only being good for like one third of the season.

Anyway Leeds - Derby tonight. Leeds have a habit of losing big games at home this season, let's hope that continues.
