Tough one for me this year, and will likely change my mind before I vote, but Brady just shading it for me right now.

I wouldn't be unhappy with him being mentioned, but winning it maybe a bit too soon.

if klose was here all season I'd find it very hard not to vote for him, but over the course of the entire season I had to go with Brady

Howson, Brady or Klose are more or less the only acceptable answers surely.

I hope in all this, Gary O'Neill gets an honourable mention. However bad things have been, he has never given up and his drive has helped drag us back into contention for survival. He is much better player than he is usually acknowledged to be though he is no Iniesta. The spirit and determination that he shows every game clearly inspire his teammates.  If we stay up then he will have made a significant contribution. 

I suppose the the age old question remains. Is POTS for the best player during the season or for the player who has most shaped and influenced the season?

Robbie Brady for me.

To be honest Brady has been far and away our best playper this season. I'd probably then go for Tettey followed by Hoolahan. If Howson had been as good in the first half of the season as he has been in the 2nd then he'd probably get 2nd, although to be fair he was often played on the wing in the first half.

Think Brady deserves it - even when the team has been poor he's generally put in a good performance. If Howson was played centrally all season maybe he'd have been in contention for it. Depending on how the rest of the season goes I can see Hoolahan being in there - his assists and goal ratio being much higher than anybody elses. To be fair:

- Brady

- Howson

- Redmond

- Hoolahan

- O'Neil

Have all generally had good seasons. There's been up's and down's which is standard for a club of our size but overall those 5 have done well.

I would probably go Howson as he's probably had the toughest job in terms of playing different positions and roles.

Think Howson would have been my choice had he spent all season in the centre and Brady later half of season hasnt been as impressive as his first, tough one.

In which, case im going to go for Russel mar.... haha, no.

I cant pick between Howson and Brady, one of those two.

Hoolahan or Tettey for me. Both have been decent trough the season and even thought their presence on the field isn't that obvious all the time, they do all the small things to make us better team. Hoolahan's assists and created clear cut chances speak for themselves. 

After them there is Howson, Brady and Redmond. All of them have had major ups and downs this season. I still think Brady gets mentioned a bit too often because he is new signing at the end he has been very good for us, but in my opinion not that much more influental than Redmond and Howson. 

As someone mentioned O'Neil's attitude should be rewarded. He is quite average player, but when needed his spirit has lifted whole team performance in another level
