I actually prefer the entrance music we've got now, the Live and Let Die cover and prefer the goal music - Chase the sun, to Samba, but would prefer none at all...

Well we do don't we. The rules and the way they are imparted by smiffy, treats fans like school children.

Did they not say. If fans  go on the pitch after the last game of the season or we will not present the cup ?

We then watch all other fans of teams winning promotion etc filling their respective pitches.

She may have the right to walk on the pitch but that does not mean she should do it.

I am saying if they have such school like rules then setting a better example would back them up.

Getting tanked up and talking rubbish on national tv hardly sets a good example and is yet another 

eabarrassment for us fans.

The Delia Smith episode is legend.   A high profile figurehead, a passionate supporter prepared to stand up and let it show in front of the fans (whether she had had a couple of glasses of wine or not).  Was not in the least embarrassing imo, if anything the publicity it got raised the awareness of the club.  And all publicity is good publicity........

I agree with everybody who would not want a dodgy foreign owner and take the club into financial meltdown.

However it is not personal ( and I knocked her back at tudor hall which sadly I went past today and informed 

my girls of what it used to be ) but I firmly believe in life in doing the very best you can in whatever you

tackle and IMO the board are scared of pushing us a bit further. I am not suggesting massive risks but

actually trying to take us to some sort of success and not being obsessed about paying off all debts

and forgetting about the City Stand extension.

Agreed. 

I really dislike the new music, and want to return to the previous. I liked it. We had a few games with no music and the atmosphere wasn't great. I genuinely don't care what other fans think of it. Not even a little bit. I enjoy it, and it makes for the family atmosphere. We are a family club. something most other clubs would love to have.

I do think it would be a massive improvement to time the entry of the teams to the Carmina Burana music climax. We laugh about it most weeks as that IS embarrassing. Surely it can't that difficult. Wait for the teams to emerge into the tunnel, play the music, send them out when it reaches it's climax. Maybe I'm being to simplistic there though...

The trouble with goal music is that is like someone telling you how to think or feel. And right at the time when you're either totally obviously elated or totally obviously deflated. It's redundant.

Music at the start of the match is ok, I guess, but should only be used if the crowd isn't lively enough.

Get rid of the music and replace it with someone on the pitch with big feck off signs telling us when to cheer, It works in live filming of tv show audiences

There were plenty of times last season when I thought the teams should come out to the beginning of "Plaistow Patricia" by Ian Dury. Summed up my mood nicely.

I don't see it as being told when to celebrate, more something like a party anthem. I love it when the music stops and the crowd roars. Hairs on the back of the neck moment that.

I liked the samba goal music only because the really high bit in the second set of "dur-dur-dur-dur-dur-dur-dur" made grown men sound like their voices were breaking again.

To be honest I couldn't care less whether we have goal music or not, when we score all that I am really aware of if is the massive explosion of excitement that I feel, I don't think music can enhance or detract from that experience.
