Not a link or even a rumour, just a thought. Utd want to sell, he is being chased by two Premier League clubs. Could we be one of them? Doesnt necessarily strike me as an Alex Neil signing, but right-back is an area we need to strengthen...

Would be good if he wasn't injured all of the time.

I know it is easy to be glib on the internet and go for the cheap laugh but even so, I genuinely think that if you wanted to strengthen at right back, Raphael is not a name which would come to mind

I think Rafael is a bit lightweight to be in Neils plans. I imagine him wanting players that play like Marc Tierney did first half of our first season. Thats not Rafael. Good player but not steely enough I think

I suspect AN would rather have Rafael than a Tierney type.

I honestly don't feel he is any better than what we have.

His tackling is pretty poor, he's lightweight, and is too attack-minded.

Is Rafael the mediocre twin who played for QPR, or the good one who plays for Man Utd?

(Just googled, well that's a relief).

Would be an ambitious signing in my opinion.

Doh!!

Apologies. I had him confused with his twin brother, Fabio.

Fabio is pants

Rafael is decent.
