same old, something need to happen and fast if we have any aspirations of finishing in the top 6 this season, 8 losses from 10 is relegation form, if we hadn't had such a good start we'd be in deep deep trouble right now

The board don't seem to care about us establishing ourselves as a Championship club.
The manager has given up.
Half of the players seem to not care or have given up.
We can only hope that enough fans are beginning to give up to impact on season ticket renewals next month, they usually start in mid-January, fans could give them a short sharp shock if they decide to hold out a bit before renewing. Perhaps that would give Moxey the kick up the backside he needs to take the case for change to Delia.

Even Reading fans are slating Alex Neil for not starting Hoolahan and taking off Nelson.

It's all over, isn't it. Just a matter of waiting for the board to grow some balls and do what they should have done at least a week ago. It's such a shame. AN did brilliantly to get us promoted. I also think he set us up pretty well for first half of the premium season and we were a tad unlucky not to have more points by this time last year.
But it's been a year of decline since then, with tactics looking increasingly forlorn and stubborn. Even hitting top of the champs was based on some pretty average performances against weak teams. Come on board, bloody well do your jobs.

I didn't want him gone when we went down, thought that the performance of getting us up deserved another crack at it, and the first 2-3 months of the season went well for the most part, but 8 losses from 10, any other club in country would of sacked their guy by now, why do we always leave it too late, its pretty obvious the players have lost the motivation to produce for him, and as I've said before we need to move now whilst there's people out there worth employing in Rowett and Hodgson, and not do it at a time when there's nobody we want

Yeah but when he came in it was a case of a new broom sweeping clean. When the going got tough in the Prem he started to look out of his depth and I thought you could things had started to turn sour.
He never really rallied the troops when it came to the nitty gritty of the relegation battle so I was always very doubtful he would turn it around for this season.

Went down to Reading yesterday for the game, and have to say from the moment Oliveira was taken off I have never witnessed our supporters be so volatile towards a manager, even in the Hughton/Roeder/Grant days. I was right there though being as hostile as anyone to be honest. The call to take off Oliveira was the most ridiculously stupid decision I have ever seen, it absolutely baffled me. He was our best player by a country mile. He'd already scored a great goal and everything good we did went through him. 10 men or not to take him off is absurd, there is no way Neil can possibly justify it. How the f*ck has he not been sacked yet? He is utterly clueless.
We need a new manager *cough* Gary Rowett *cough* to come in and make wholesale changes. So many players out there are underperforming whilst we have the likes of Hoolahan, Pritchard, Canos, Klose, Thompson who aren't getting a game. Oliveira was the only player who played well yesterday. Jacob Murphy would go and do something brilliant, and then with his next touch would completely mess it up. There was a moment at 1-1 where he got to the byline inside the Reading box, had all the time in the world to pick a pass, and pulled it back straight to the Reading player. If that was practically any other player on the pitch in that position it would've ended in a goal. As for Naismith, the less said about him the better. Completely useless and blatantly doesn't want to be here. How on Earth has he managed to get back in the starting XI anyway? He's done nothing to warrant that place ahead of Pritchard or Wes. He was our worst player by some distance yesterday. Interestingly Hoolahan was about to come on presumably for Naismith yesterday, but then we scored to make it 1-1 and Neil then waited for Reading to score and us to go down to 10 men to bring him on. The whole crowd were chanting Hoolahan's name before whilst he was warming up yesterday. As for Klose being on the bench whilst we continue to ship goals and look generally poor at the back, well there's nothing to say. Also, the free-kick that Reading got yesterday, because of a Pinto 'foul' was never in a million years a free-kick. Something else that went against us.
I don't want to hate Alex Neil, because ultimately he was responsible for giving me my greatest memory as a football fan at Wembley a couple of years ago, but when I think of him and listen to him now I just feel angry. He should've gone after we lost to Leeds at home at the very beginning of November. Him, and the board's blind faith in him has cost us automatic promotion and probably a play-off place too. Superb.
Can I just say though, the fans were brilliant yesterday all the way through. Outsang Reading's supporters all game and the scenes when the goal went in were reminiscent of that to when Jerome scored at Wembley. We have a great, loyal set of fans here and ultimately we're the only ones getting f*cked over the longer this farcical situation goes on.
