Sky Sports now reporting that Nathan is having medical en route to Southampton for £11 million.

My feelings are that he is not consistent enough, a common trait in young players.

We're not selling to a direct rival.

Let's hope a replacement is going to be brought in. (Not Whittaker)

Do we need a replacement or is it time to go with the Murphys? They both had good last seasons and are capable now of playing in the Championship. I would only play one at a time in the league but I think one or both of them are up to it.

We will miss his quality and get anyone of that level in his place.  Soton will suit him and I europa league will showcase his talents 

If we can add a striker and a half decent cb to partner klose things will look far stronger.

If Brady also leaves, as seems likely, we will need a replacement,. Jarvis is the one at the moment, not sure either Murphy is ready to be anything other than the option.

if we keep both Brady and Jarvis I'd be happy enough to have both Murphy's as part of the squad next season as their understudy's so to speak, if either of Brady or Jarvis go we need to sign at least one more winger though, no question about that, looking back it's a bit of a shame we let Bennett go, could of been more than handy for next season

Maybe he wasn't their best attacking threat. But he was AN's.

His failure to utilise him better hindered our chances of survival.

I hoped he was going to be the player we created a dynasty around. Pace and ability is undeniable. Crossing maybe not as good as it should be. But I thought he would be the player that was most respected in our side and attract the most attention from rival players and create space for others.

But whether it was his fault or the three managers who had him, he didn't achieve that level. So I wish him well for the future and hope that the current management team spend the money wisely.

And surely with Brady likely to go for a similar sum ( a goal or two this afternoon would help boost that) then we ought to be able to bring in a few players of top of the table championship standard.

Talented young player, and on his day, easily looked streets ahead in class. But really sometimes just lacked that bit of drive and motivation when he needed to dig deep. I felt sometimes he thought he was too good for Norwich, and could go missing in a game when things weren't going his way.

Perhaps being asked to cover for players who weren't quite as gifted as him was beneath him, who knows? Perhaps surrounded by a better quality of player he will flourish. Only time will tell.

Gut feeling for me is that he will never quite be what some people expected him to be.

Will always love him for his Wembley goal.

Wish him all the best. Quite a few of our supporters (and I'm mainly basing this on what my mates have said), seem to say good riddance to him going, but I really can't see why as his goals against Ipswich and Boro are two of my favourite ever moments as a Norwich supporter.

Quality player no doubt about that, just inconsistant. If he can get a run of games in the Southampton team then hopefully he can get up some head of steam and show what he can do consistantly, if he can do that then I have no doubt he'll be in the England squad before too long, particularly if Southgate gets the gig.

Wish Nathan all the best too.  Don't think he ever really delivered on his undoubted potential for us other than sporadically - although he did show occasionally his quality.  What I don't yet have clear in my own mind is whether that was because we didn't have the quality around him he might need to shine (which may explain why he looks so much better for England U21s) or whether he really wasn't capable of being a consistently high quality performer.  I know he did frustrate me time after time but it seems to me to be typically Norwich that I can't decide whether that frustration was our fault or his!!

I am not saying that I said so but the Murphy boys did not look out of place today.  I think they will have a part to play and that those doubters perhaps did not follow just how much progress they made last season.
