I am a season ticket holder in the river end.

During the half time against Swansea happened to go for a walk around and it dawned upon me how shabby the interior of the N and P is becoming.

Really needs new toilet facilities, serving kiosks etc.

Jarrold is clearly better but the rest of the ground does need a spruce up

Do agree that parts of the ground need a tidy up. New flood lights have been installed hopefully the concourse refurbishment won't be far behind

Personally I'd rather the club invested all spare income on the playing budget rather than sprucing up the N&P.  The Barclay is pretty scruffy as well but it's a football ground, not a theatre.

Also a N&P season ticket holder.  I'm quite fond of the old fashioned nature of it all. And would much rather see every penny spent on players until we were established in the prem

Its 2015, Norwich City are an EPL club, and surely the fans who fork out decent money are entitled to having first class facilities throughout the ground?

I just hope the Board think the same way, as to refurbish the tatty parts of the ground when looking at the bigger picture is basically a part of running a good business and looking after your customers.

I personally think the days of p1ssing in one long "accomodates all" urinal, forming a queue for a hand dryer and not having to fight for a clean, tidy and modern place to stand your driink (as examples), the club simply has a duty to "invest in their customers/supporters".. Sure at Crown Meadow or Salford FC, but not in the EPL in 2015.

If they cant do it know, they never will.....

I agreed agree the urinals and don't get me started on the quality of the loo roll

I don't quite understand the antipathy to the River End. Some supporters are vociferous an hour before the game and continue throughout. Others sit on their hands and choose to moan at the slightest thing. They are equally dedicated to the club but enjoy it on different ways. Its called personality. And many of them have been supporting for 50 years or more. And you might as well have like for like in each stand rather than diluting it around the ground.

My son and I were threatened with ejection at a City game at Plymouth because we were too noisy and had the temerity to leap up and down when we scored. But that's us not giving in to stewards who are actually marines earning a bit of money every other Saturday and looking for trouble themselves.

Seriously?

It's a football match for a crowd of c. 25,000.  If you want individual urinals, the toilets would have to stretch all the way across the stand and back again.

"Forming a queue for the hand dryer" - I've always used my jeans.  What happened to the working man's game when we're complaining about a lack of individual urinals and electric hand dryers? Come on, man!

And that's the antipathy right there.

I remember my first and last game in the upper River End.  We had just scored, and from the kick-off the opposition (QPR) launched an "attack".  The ball was crossed hopelessly into a box with no strikers in it, Bryan Gunn caught it under no pressure, and the bloke in front of me yelled "here they go again, SLOPPY NORWICH! WAKE UP!"

That's stuck with me as typical River End.

Ha, I hate going to the toilet at the football, always wait for a space at the end of the urinal rather than squeezing myself between two blokes and getting their splashbacks

Its one of the better arguments for leaving with a couple of minutes of the half to go, getting to urinate in relative peace!

They'd need to stick an extension on the back of two or three stands to improve the toilet situation though, not sure that's a worthwhile investment.
