I agree with morty on this one. Hoping beyond hope that it is just his agent looking back through his log and seeing that Norwich went after him recently.
He has 22 appearances in all competitions with 14 starts and a whopping 3 goals and 1 assist for the 12 million that was paid for him. He has also managed to pick up 5 yellow cards.
For comparison, Jerome has 25 appearances in all comps with 20 starts, 8 goals, and 5 assists. 5 yellow cards as well, but bought a while ago for much much cheaper than 12 mil.

On loan until the end of the season, just paying his wages with no other strings attached? Yes.
A permanent transfer for a 30 year old who would probably cost us at least £8m and require us to take over the 3.5 years left on his huge contract? No thanks.
I'm guessing that if the rumour is true we see him as somebody who can play on the left, which is where I'd want to see him, but I'd be angry if blew the Brady proceeds on him when there are probably 3 areas of the pitch we need some urgent attention.
QPR have just signed Luke Freeman for £300k, bargain. We've got Matt Jarvis spending 90% of the time in the treatment room, probably on big money.
Don't understand why we don't appear to have been in for players on an upward trajectory like Hourihane, Freeman, etc, if we've got the resources to chase players like McCormack. If its true.
