If we need any evidence that Russell Martin just talks a load of guff then he left Walsall by mutual consent 2 weeks ago, stating to the press that he didn't want to do the 3 hour commute from Brighton because he wasn't seeing his family enough and the Walsall manager agreed that he needs to put his family first. .

... only to sign for MK Dons 3 days later.... which is still 2 and a quarter hours from Brighton.

Doesn't have anything to do with him not getting in the Walsall side and MK Dons being a division lower by any chance?

Walsall fans on their forum all seems to think he talks a load of shite, so did Rangers fans, although one Saddler did point out that they may have to be grateful to him for recommending Cameron Normal and Matt Jarvis.

Says a lot about how much his legs have gone if they rate Matt Jarvis after about 3 years of not playing football more than they rate him

Interesting one Cameron Norman, good to see our old academy products doing well... local kid as well.... went from being released here to Norwich United, and has worked his way back up to League One where he's played 9 times this season.
