Safe from relegation on 40 points?

Daniel Farke is quoted yesterday as saying that now we've reached 40 points we dont have to worry about relegation if we lose 2 games in a row. But surely its closer to 50 points for safety in this league? Is he getting confused with the Premier League? Or am I not doing the maths? I don't for one moment think we need to be looking down anymore, just curious as to where he gets the 40 points for safety from. I'm sure its obvious and I'm missing something as usual.

Oh yes. I see. He means we are now more than 6 points above relegation.......I'll get my coat ....

If you plunge the depths of internet stupidity, you will still find folk who consider we are at risk of relegation....

Yes there are many doom mongers lurking. I think it could be exciting times ahead. The club clearly has a plan.
