I have just seen the (so brief) highlights.

My conclusion is that all the goals we scored were good ones, showing accuracy, thought and control. Great goals!

But what about those missed? From the highlights Johnson missed at least three golden chances to put the game to bed, and all the chances were fairly close in. Having started the season well, and scoring plenty of goals, he seems now back to his old standards.

It may be that he is too eager and doesn't steady himself. Certainly the ball he pushed over required a simple side-foot tap. It's a pity for two reasons, - because he is very good at running forward with attacks, although he is supposedly a defensive midfielder, and because earlier in the season he was showing very improved chance taking.

Is it time to consider giving him a rest, and leaving Tettey to cover the back four, while the other midfielders - Howson, Andreu, O'Neil, Vadis, Redmond, or perhaps Dorrans are selected to provide chances for our strikers who all seem to be returning to form? Against all but the stronger teams our totally focussed back four, with Tettey in front, ought to be able to cope. Or is Johnson assumed to be a strong tackler who cannot be omitted?

Im actually supportive of Johnson at this level, after being a harsh critic at Premier League level. I thought he was a big problem for us in the Premier League, but think he is an asset at this level.

What is telling is that despite all of our misgivings about BJ - he has been consistently picked by four different Norwich managers now

I think at the level we're at you just have to accept that the players we have will have holes in their game, and hope that our manager picks the ones who's holes complement each other.

If Johnson could shoot straight and pass the ball to a yellow shirt more often he'd be playing week in week out in the Prem. Personally I enjoy watching him play despite the flaws, everyone so often one of his needless hollywood balls or thunderbastard shots comes off and its a joy to see.

He was quite antagonising to watch last night. A few good chances went begging. I did think he was only 1 hard challenge away from a second yellow in the fist half as well, so glad he tightened up a bit in the 2nd half.

I think he's a player we can't do without at the moment though.

Let's face it, if we had taken a few more of the numerous chances we have created all season, the rest would be chasing us.

And I don't think it is quite fair to apportion the blame on someone who has spent half the season in a more defensive role. And to say a player who is in many peoples minds our player of the season based on 30 league games and is the only one who does regularly score from midfield should be rested and replaced by someone who hasn't played because he is another sick note or a player who is still at WBA is a bit bizarre.

Whilst did miss chances, Johnson made a fantastic challenge to set-up our first goal, and got an assist for Grabban's goal. So I think he can be forgiven.

I've always been a big Bradley Johnson fan since he signed, and have never understood some of the hate from our fans towards him.
