was highly rated when Man City signed him from Fulham for £10m+, did do well at Celtic from what I can tell, but that isn't exactly a great achievement, but maybe this is the sort of move he needs, chance to prove himself in English football at the top level without the pressure of being at a big club, we needed another winger and hopefully this move works out for all parties

not sure, but found this about when he played, and he didn't play between Dec 2nd and Mar 1st, so I'd assume he must have had a major injury to miss that much playing time

Remember Roberts when he was at Fulham, and he was a really tidy little player. Seems to have been impressive at Celtic as well so all in all I'm delighted with this. Think he'll be a really useful addition.

Interesting that Roberts is called a striker, a forward and a winger.

I can't be 100% certain on that, but based on what I've been told I'll be surprised if Srbeny isn't loaned out, with Pukki and a new signing competing for the first choice striker role, and the 3rd choice I referred to earlier taking Srbeny's spot.
