Anybody know the owner of that site? It is by far the most comprehensive source of historical information on the club. the only site of its type on the web.

There is a message on the front page saying that as of 31st August 2014 it will no longer be updated.

It also says:

"For the time being I will leave it all on the net, but viewers must take into consideration that many of the facts and figures have already been overtaken by time".

Seems to imply that it may be deleted.

If anybody knows who the owner of the site is, it would be great if they could make it known to them that if they time ever does come that they want to press the delete button....

..... there may be scope to retain some of the more evergreen (timeless) content on NorwichTalk.com. I wouldn't be in a position time-wise to do anything with it for quite some time, but would be a huge shame to lose all of that information to the delete button (whenever that may happen). 

There would also be a place for some of the historic photos in the galleries, at least those which are old enough to be public domain or shared with the blessing of the copyright holder.

I don't know him personally but I've exchanged emails on several times discussing various issues on postings.

Although Andrew had questioned his desire to keep it going on several occasions, given the huge amount of data and time involved, the decision to stop seemed sudden.

I've actually sent him an email to see if everything is OK and i will provide an update, if appropriate, in due course.

I can understand why he'd "stop", because keeping it up to date must be a huge task, but would be a shame to lose the whole site. A lot of the more evergreen stuff (e.g. stuff about the 59'ers, and most of the blog posts) could have a home here, either in a new section or in the blog section. 

As an alternative to deleting the thing anyway!

I really hope he doesn't just delete it, but, at the end of the day, it's his personal work so he can do as he chooses.

The blog is back, albeit in a reduced format and without the daily updates. Given that the author was typically spending fifteen hours a week keeping this going, he did tremendously well to keep it fresh and updated for over four years.
