Shame lol
My old man done his knee from playing, and when i was playing he was in my ear non-stop telling me it's a mugs game, we're not naturally designed to kick a ball, Don't do it, will mess me up for life. etc. It took him over 10 years after finishing football to start to see genuine recovery. But even now it can play up if he steps wrong.I dislocated my patella several times as a youngster, and it really does take a long time to recover, if indeed you ever do.
Sure it won't end his career, he will get access to world class surgeons in the US and Germany with groundbreaking techniques etc. A cruciate ligament injury was multiple times more likely to end the career of a top level footballer 10 to 15 years ago than it is now, for example.Exactly.
I gave up football at 17. I still feel instability on occasions if I'm rushing down stairs etc
This injury could actually end Snoddy's career.
