So Where Did Those Extra Seats Come From?

Last season we had a new all seater record attendance of, I think 27,006 against Ipswich in the league. Prior to last season I think the record was 26,876 - against Swansea and virtually all home support. So where have those extra 130 seats come from? 

I believe we now have a moveable contraption that separates the away support in the Jarrold in place of the netting. But I can not see it from my seat. That may have made a column or 2 more seats available, but not enough for 130 seats.

Anybody know the answer? And yes I am a bit bored today - golf rained off!

I think there was a change in how we segregate fans which freed up a couple of hundred Jarrolds stand seats for sale?   That may have just been a bizarre dream though!

Not sure it is the answer though. Dates back a few years and was an early McNally initiative in place for the previous Championship campaign. Although there is a theoretical limit of just over 27,000, the practical limit is lower as seats are lost creating the "fire break" with away fans.

So we seemed to have a top attendance of around 28,650 during the premiership years. Exceeded at the Swansea game which was a Sunday lunchtime kick off and pretty much all home support so maybe a smaller fire break.

Last season though we did get attendances of around 27,000 so I think there must have been some change. As ZLF has said the means of segregation may have changed and freed up seats - the contraption I referred to! Have you been able to spot a change from where you sit?

The gap between the supporters did seem smaller than usual in that game Sussex, so you could be right.
