On the top of the articles saying how open Dorrans would be to a move to Rangers, does anyone thing that maybe the club needs to just throttle back a wee bit on the cull?

I know we need to offload some wages (which we have already done when we released the out of contract players) but we ain't that broke, that we literally need to clear everyone out!

Howson leaving would be a backwards step in my opinion, can't we just keep 2 or 3 high earners to give us a bit of a wow factor?! 

My neighbour reckons Marley Watkins is "average" too, if that link is true (Barnsley season ticket holder). Its fine him being "average" if he is replacing Wildschut or Jarvis, less so so if he is replacing anybody else. 

If we do sell Howson I hope it is to the Premier League, West Ham or somebody, would be utterly depressing if he is wearing a Leeds shirt next season.

With Dorrans clearly off and Tettey probably done I would suggest Howson's agent knows this is a fairly strong position for them.

Maybe Webber's claim we have to sell to buy was as genuine as what he said? I don't think we're going to be making any big-money signings this transfer window and seems like we'll be losing some quality players.

Which I have no issue with, but this preconception that it's fine because we'll just get a youngster from Germany on 5k a week who'll be a prem superstar in 6 months is naive.

Its all a game. We are buying lots of players this summer, and there is nothing to be gained by letting people think we have the money to pay over the odds.

Its quite an odd state of affairs, some people really have bought into this whole Webber revolution thing in a big, big way. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited by it too, but if you think he can just replicate what happened at Huddersfield in just turning up, buying a load of players on the cheap, and getting promoted, then you're a bit naive.
