Don't think there's much new being said there but I would be surprised if he isn't a Leicester player in the next week or so.

If they meet the price we want then all good, and I would rather he go to a team where he plays regularly rather than being part of a massive squad. I just hope we include a sell on clause / international appearances one.

We'll miss him that's for sure. I know one man doesn't make a team, but it's been a privilege to watch him in our colours, and the way he's behaved, unlike some in his profession. Good luck to the lad wherever he ends up.

Not really a privilege, for me. Yup, he's had a great season particularly in terms of banging in some quality goals but I've never looked at him and thought "this lad is something else".

Thats not very kind, is it? He comes across as a really nice guy, and in particular went above and beyond for a friend of mine whose partner passed away, which he didn't have to do. He really doesn't seem to be a football prick, he has been nothing but humble and grateful to Norwich City for his chance.

Personally I think Maddison will have a much better career than Nathan Redmond and either Murphy twin. I doubt we'll see Maddison back in this division before he is 32.

Probably see Jacob Murphy back in this league on loan in about 2 months time.

I think Maddison will end up having a career like Bellamy, probably grab himself a few England caps. As long as he doesn't do his knee properly.

Developing a good partnership with Vardy won't do him any harm when it comes to getting England recognition.

If we're trying to find an overhyped and over rated young player though then Jack Grealish would be top of my list, oh and I never rated Jacob Murphy. Still think Josh is the better twin, and I think Josh is bang average!

I do think Sessegnon at Fulham is the player from last season who will reach Dele Ali / Harry Kane levels though, doing what he has done at 18 years old and having his pace as a left footed player. He'll become what people were hoping Luke Shaw was going to be.

Lots of footballers are nice guys. There's a current Norwich player who a lot of people call arrogant and selfish etc but I know has actually done some very kind things for people.

And I also know of some very popular players who aren't actually that nice.

Footballers are like the rest of us. Some are pricks but many aren't.

I have no problem with Maddison at all but I only concern myself with what is best for City. Nothing personal, just business - as they say.

But we're replacing Hoolahan, Maddison and hopefully Naismith.... so we do need more than just McLean if he is for that position.

Surely Cantwell deserves a go? He played a couple of times last season before going to Holland, didn't seem too bad.

Matt Jarvis due back, Madders hasn't gone yet, plus any Germans / Columbians left from this season.

Tough one with Cantwell because Fortuna are now in the Eredivisie, that's a huge opportunity for him and a full season may do him good like it did for Godfrey.

Maddison had played a lot of football before breaking through here and having a huge impact, Cantwell has only played about 10 games.

Jacob Murphy did a whole season on loan before having his breakthrough season here.

Goes without saying that we wouldn't sanction that before bringing somebody in (I hope!).

If I were Cantwell I'd probably be itching to get back there for a year rather than be a bit part player here, get the odd game against a star like Van Persie etc.

And its Holland... so they'd probably send him back a better player, technically at least.
