I know this will sound ridiculous to some, but my motivation for the club I have supported for over 50 years needs repairing and that will now only be done with a good striker signing or two...............the situation up front is embarrassing and didnt get fixed in January which was a disgrace......thats how I feel about it :-(.

He's 23? Should be more consistent than he has been, he's not a kid anymore.

Despite some lambasting him, he scored 11 goals last season. If the fee is big enough that we can replace those goals, then maybe worth considering. Personally, I'd rather keep him. Unless it is too good to turn down, 12m plus?

Edit :- 11 goals and 3 assists, second top scorer behind Maddison. Played in most games (can't be bothered to look up how many) is that not consistent enough?

That's one goal in four or five games from playing out wide so not too shabby. There are quite a few games where he's not really involved much, has the potential to go further.

It would impact on the home grown players rule too if he goes.

I would say play hardball on him, see where the season takes us, maybe listen to over inflated offers in January.

That's got to depend on what other players go out the door. If the fringe players can't be shifted, the club might have to take offers on the likes of Josh, who we would assume would be in Farke's plans for next season.

I would like to hope that inevitable sale of Maddison will keep us afloat and mean we don't have to sell Josh, if we don't want to.

Selling both of them would really make it feel like a fire sale!
