I'm not sure he really "muttered darkly about leaving", although I remember a comment towards the end of last season about how much he enjoyed playing in the Prem, but he is a great lad who brings power and energy to the team. The prospect of him and Howson in the same midfield is quite scary at this level. Delighted that he's signed.

It was reported in the summer that a Prem team had come after him but we had refused permission to talk to him. Chris Goreham asked him about that in a recent interview and Alex said something to the effect of "I don't want to talk about that. I want to just talk about now".

Turner, Wes and Tettey signing new contracts has been a brilliant bit of business. This is the absolute cherry on top for the summer for me as I said before Tettey not yet signing a new contract was the only thing I was disappointed we hadn't got sorted.

This summer has been phenomenally well executed and really given us the best opportunity of getting promoted within a sensible budget.

I probably just googled each and used Archant articles as reference.

Transfermarkt gives contract information, but I found one or two to be incorrect.

I created the topic Nine players out of contract June 2015 after doing it. The 9 players then were:

Ryan Bennett

Wes Hoolahan

Michael Turner

Andrew Surman

Alex Tettey

Declan Rudd

Mark Bunn

Anthony Pilkington

Javier Garrido (we have a one year option). 

Which would leave just Bunn & Garrido.
