Does anybody know how we ended up on the east side of Wembley, the 'away end'.
Typically the team playing from the west end of Wembley are classed as the home team. They would play in home colours if there was a clash, get the home dressing room, and unfortunately, records show get the better results! Not to mention the better pubs!!
I would have thought being the team that finished higher in the table would get this privilege. I'm pretty sure for the FA Cup Final it comes down to a coin toss, but can't remember anything being said about our Final??
