Great little write up. I skim read it at first and missed the word 'cat' from this sentence: "It made Tony Pulis sound like a p*ssy cat and suggested a new era for Norwich", which gave me my first laugh of the day

This bit was a bit needless though: "Norwich do mutual consent if they can, rather than the sack", doesn't that apply to any club who find themselves with a manager that they no longer want and a contract which they don't wish to pay off in full? Other than Peter Grant, I can't remember any other of our former managers to leave by mutual consent.

I also like the fact that Neil started in the stands but obviously thought bugger this, I've got to get involved, and came down to pitchside when we went down to 10 men.  Exactly what we need.

The magnitude of the win just grows on me - going behind at the leaders, pulling back to level terms, but then going down to 10 men would often see a team fade away or at best scrap to hold out for a draw.  The fact that we were still going for a win is very promising.

Just one game where the new manager wasn't invovled at all beforehand, but that one game has gone about as well as it could.

The way the season is evolving, there appears to be little to chooses between a good many sides. Unlike other seasons when one club has broken away from the rest.

I don't for one minute imagine we can do that from this position but we have done it before (1981) although some of you might not have been born then. But the article suggest a new era for NCFC. And reading how AN was animated throughout, just maybe he can add something that ignites not only the players but the fans as well.

Early days but a preferable way to start the "new era".

He's obviously keen to get stuck in and yet he kept a good balance in seeing that Phelan and Holt got credit for preparing the team for the match. It'd be interesting to know who decided to keep both strikers on after going down to 10 men and then added Lafferty as well later so the mid-field could stay back and defend while getting the ball up to the strikers when they could. It certainly worked a treat!
