What is already clear is we are in a world of trouble

again our directors get it wrong strategically

time for a change of ownership

i would suggest they put the club up for sale and see what interest they get

beat for all

Clear we're in a world of trouble ? Just out of interest, if we win the next two games, both at home, would we still be in a world of trouble ? I know the way we're defending it's unlikely but it could happen, then things might just calm down a little.

Even Delia's Minister of Information on twitter Mick Dennis has said we are a shambles and he can't defend it

only morty has his dwindling band of happy clappers on here can see any positives

tilly and I spoke to Gunny about yesterday and he to thought it will be a long season and he is an expert on crap management

why cant you see if FF

Ah, so you're Tils mole ?

Gunny is hardly an expert on management issues either is he ? As for your question, don't you think that making decisions after 5 games is a bit extreme ? Do you think that Ipsw*ch will finish second because that's where they are now ?

Is it OK for me to agree that we are in a world of trouble, whilst also agreeing that Waveney is a helmet?

I'm considering taking 33/1 on our relegation today, because I don't think I'll get odds that good again. Never bet on my own teams relegation before, but I don't believe in tempting fate and £30 on that would soften the blow somewhat.

I assume it is against this forums rules to call another poster a helmet ?

Our rules are secret, that way we can just make one up when we fancy banning somebody.

But helmet isn't on the naughty word list, you *bleep*.  ;)

I can't really disagree with your original post Waveney as it happens, taking a medium term view, its not looking good is it and I don't see how some sort of succession plan can work when the heir apparent doesn't have the means to generate any sort of serious 'new money', people forget how old Delia and her husband are and banking on successors being able to run a second tier side at break even year after year doesn't sound too realistic to me.

Even if running a club very prudently you'd like to think that your owners have deep enough pockets to get the club out of a pickle, like the owner of Huddersfield who is minted and owns a thriving national business. He hasn't put much money into that club so far, but he probably would if he had to.

I'm not sure how relevant that is to our current situation though, in the short term, we've got 4 days to try and improve our squad and keep hold of Nelson Oliviera, and then we just have to hope that Farke & Webber can try and get things working as quickly as possible. If that doesn't work we need to appoint a new head coach, and if that doesn't work then perhaps Webber is a hype job and needs to move on.

We aren't getting a new owner in the next 4 days.

Taking a pop shot at somebody who is clearly not around to have a go back though.... that makes you look like a helmet.

I pray that this doesnt turn into a pinkun mini me forum, if so, I will be off quicker than I'd drop Husband and Franke.

Also, I really do not see Morty as a happy clapper?

Now, regarding the problem lies in Stowmarket and time to sell rubbish........we all know thats not going to happen now dont we..........plus, I have been critical like many others of the Board's handling of many things over recent seasons, like slow in releasing both Hooooton and AN,......BUT, I have to be totally honest and say that I give them huge credit for actually having the guts to make such a huge radical change at the club with this Webber & Farke set-up, it really is the biggest risk our club has taken for many years.

Unfortunately at this moment in time its looking like it hasnt paid off, and I and many other are getting impatient, perhaps a little soone than we should,  however it is early days yet, so lets see....

As things stand I'm willing to show a bit of patience for one reason and one reason only, and that's Farke taking responsibility for our failures so far and deflecting blame away from his players.

As soon as that changes and he starts scraping the excuse barrel or moaning about his players like Alex Neil then I'll consider the project a failure and want him out of the job, and Stuart Webber with him. I can foresee a situation whereas Farke is made a scapegoat at some stage to save Webber's skin, but I don't think Webber has accrued enough 'credits' to get away with a disastrous managerial appointment and a terrible summer transfer window. They should both remain up until the point that it becomes clear they both need to leave.

My idea for a Plan B, if we can't show that we're at least a mid-table standard side in the near future rather than the strong relegation candidates that we currently look like, would entail Paul Lambert returning with Grant Holt as his assistant. Both unemployed, no compensation required.

We probably need to stop getting thrashed by mediocre teams by the end of September really before my patient evaporates.

I'll say this, if Farke goes, there is no way Webber goes with him. They've made it very clear the whole point is that if the manager goes, this new set up ensures some stability. Whatever happens, plenty of clubs are showing that a Sporting Director is the way forward and I hope we stick with that at least.

What would we be holding Farke responsible for though? Surely this system were trying to implement is one agreed by Webber and Farke, using at least some players who have been recruited directly by Webber.

Nobody can tell me that Farke went to Webber and asked him to sign James Husband. Is it his fault that Webber decided he didn't want to meet Dijks wage demands and then signed our worst left back since Fernando Derveld?

Making Farke the scapegoat for this clusterf*ck wouldn't sit well with me at all. At the moment we've got Farke coming out and saying "leave Martin alone, blame me", but Stuart Webber going missing and not deflecting any blame away from Farke. So already I'm seeing cracks in all this "togetherness" and "unity" shtick we got from Webber, who three weeks ago was in the press declaring that we had the best coach in the Championship.

At the moment it feels like Farke is being asked to polish a turd and that Webber is probably already working out how he can spin this increasingly depressing situation in a way which would save his own face. It would be nice to see Webber take some of the pressure off of Farke in the same way that Farke has just attempted to take some off of his players. In fact Farke has just done what Lambert frequently did, and what Alex Neil never did.

I would find it extremely difficult to pin blame on Farke without apportioning plenty of it on Webber too. Paul Lambert walked out on Wolves when it became clear he wouldn't be deciding who is bought and sold, and Farke has dealt with a similar situation admirably so far. He must be desperate to just say "look, this is the hand I've been dealt", but it would be quite nice if Webber said "this is the hand Farke has been dealt" wouldn't it?

Or in short... even the "best coach in the Championship" can't be expected to turn an ageing right back who wants to play at centre back (Martin), a German 4th tier player (Zimmerman), a James Husband (sh*t), and a goalkeeper who had never played a competitive game before, into a defense capable of keeping a clean sheet against any Championship side, Thus, he's being asked to polish a turd.

4 clean sheets in 6 games for John Ruddy by the way, I wonder whether he was ever just asked the simple question "would you take a pay cut to stay here?", Huckerby took several pay cuts to stay at Norwich because he was happy in Norfolk, and I know that Ruddy loved this club and the county.

I'm not really all that certain James Husband is as bad as all that. He's had a rough start, no doubt, but players have come back from worse. He must have something about him to be getting games at this level. I definitely don't agree with using Dijks as a stick to beat the club with. If we can't afford it, we can't afford it. We can't pull money from nowhere. Whats more, he wasn't even that good. You'll notice nobody else has snapped him up.

As for this supposed Webber "silence", is he supposed to address the fans every time we lose? To do so would be to completely undermine Farke.
