Well now from yesterday I have a life ban from the PU, okay, some may say its well deserved, but it lasts until the year 2160 at 5.40pm. That's not just silly, its vindictive and personal imo

Change your name to Tyson Fury. Insult who you like and get away with because you are a pikey ('kin hard diddycoy of course).

 But dare to wind someone up on a forum is disgraceful behaviour. I bet you whistle on a Thursday as well.

By the way, where does your name originate from? Something magical or did you take it with water in the 90's? Or have you just got a dodgy bladder?

Originally my username was 'First Wizard' eaton, and he was a central character out of my favourite and huge fantasy epic 'Sword of truth' books by Terry Goodkind.

But people just shortened it to Wiz and it kinda stuck.

I quite like the laid back feel of this place.  It's more like a quiet local pub, compared to the Pink Un's Wetherspoons.

Wiz, your Pink Un ban has been coming for years and lord knows you've flounced out of there often enough.  They'll miss the hits your threads generated though.

And there's really no difference between Wiz's ban and Tyson Fury's treatment.  Both have been held accountable for their words.  What exactly has Tyson Fury "got away" with? He stated his beliefs, was investigated by the police and slated in the media.  Doesn't sound like he got away with anything to me.

The whole idea that he should be struck off the Sports Personality list (a list based on sporting achievement) because a lot of people don't agree with his personal views is ridiculous.  We all have the right to be offended, that goes with the right of free speech (and accountability for your words).

Nothing against free speech it is a given right but you have to temper that speech by being factual and not condescending to those who are forced to listen to it.

To be honest, I find it bizarre that people believe there is a god and I don't say that to sir up those who do. I just think it bizarre that so many believe in something which to me, has no evidence and has not been proved in any way. Yet Fury, unfairly using his new found celebrity has hidden behind "his belief" in a God to justify his original outburst that included abortion and homosexuality. In the same way as you can deny someone staying at your guest house because your belief in a God will not permit homosexuals to share the same bed.

I don't believe we should respect anyone's belief or opinion just because of their celebrity.

And it is the Sports "Personality" award not Sports "Achievement" award. And I agree that he should not be struck off. Censorship is equally as ridiculous. The best scenario would be him getting little or no votes for him. But as we found out with the election of Jeremy Corbyn and Rage against the Machine getting a Xmas number 1 in 2009, we might have the reverse effect and that might give the silly fool another stump to preach from.

He's a bit of a pillock but its a public vote isn't it, if all those people who don't want Tyson Fury to win the award voted for Jessica Ennis then he won't win it.

As you know I have always, well almost always quite enjoyed your controversial input on the pinkun, as it did certainly create some lively debate. But, have to say you are well rid, I say this because other posters over reacted to you and have over the years subjected you to some nasty abuse, not that you cant dish it out yourself . That's something I really hope doesnt happen on here, as others also face some nasty stuff on from a few of the regular posters, for example, no matter what Lakey posts is met with snide comments and other negatives even if he has a good point or has started a good topic, I have no idea why he continues to post. Also, of course,  now I guess you will spend more time on here, and you can become "Nice Wiz".

Absolutely. The bloke is a moron but deserves to be on the list for his achievement. In fact, going to Germany and outboxing Kiltschko is probably the achievement of the year. Banning everything is not the way to deal with things you don't agree with. But I will be voting for Ennis to try and ensure he doesn't win.
