The striker.

I was pondering on just how much we have had to adapt to the injuries to Ali and Mo, and just how much we have had to change how we play, and the impact it has had. And specifically the role of strikers in the equation.

I don't think I would have predicted Kvistgaarden being our first choice, but here we are. We obviously started the season with plans of Ahmed providing ball to feet for for Toure, who loves to be on the shoulder of the last man before scoring. Then due to their injuries we have had to basically rip that plan up, and the focus shifted to Makama, who is completely different again. Then had to adapt to Kvistgaarden, who although works hard, he doesn't feel like a 20 goal striker. I don't think we can underestimate just how much we have had to rip up our plans due to injuries up front, and how it has thrown us a bit.

Also, what has happened to Crnac? And I have heard rumbles that Mundle-Smith is unhappy with lack of game time.

I’ve been calling this a while, and even wanted this at Charlton, and as we saw Saturday Kvrist has an eye for a ball, and the instincts to get up and around the box to support a Makama!
He’ll win headers, and he has the work ethic and energy to drop in and add an extra body into midfield when needed

I also think he is a decent 10 and a change in how we play balls to him away from becoming a Pukki type player

Kvist has all the attributes of a decent No10. Good vision, a range of passing and knows where the net is.

Right, who is going to get in touch with Big Phil? He needs to hear this.
