Just remembered another thing from the AGM that might interest people. Webber told us about the culture difference between the German and English players. Apparently he and Farke have introduced occasional midweek get togethers over a meal for the players and wives/gfs. He said that the English lads get the food down them as quickly as possible then head off home to watch TV or play computer games but the Germans are there until after midnight drinking coffee and saying how nice it is to all get together.

Their fans seemed to worked out in about 6 games that he's poor in the air and has no pace. Took a lot of Norwich fans much longer to accept that, probably because of sentiment.

There's a substantial difference in the average age of the English players and the German speaking players though. We're talking early 20's vs Mid 20's average. You'd expect some differences in interests and maturity levels.

At one stage we had a lot of experienced pros who were into golf, and another bunch into greyhound racing. You wouldn't expect a typical 21 year old to be into golf or greyhound racing.

And Trybull and Leitner were supposed to have been a handful in their younger years? Your brain isn't fully developed until you are around 25, which is actually the average age of our German contingent. Average age of the English players is just 22.

I've worked with many, particularly over the last five years, they like to talk and drink a lot too....and its not coffee, well these are not professional footballers.
