Something which may yet come into play is the business end at the bottom of the table. We know that towards the end of the season teams at the bottom often start playing above their level - Wigan are the masters of this.

Wigan and Millwall need points badly and are fast running out of time. Within their final 7 games, the following fixtures include our promotion rivals

That's a fair point, and could yesterday's Millwall win, after trailing 1-0, be a huge result, as it gives Millwall real hope, and confidence, going into those games you list?

Sacking a manager with 5 games to go. Who'd do something like that? Wonder what Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer think...?

Perhaps they're hoping for the same miracle bounce a Prem team wanted last season. Think they'll have even less luck with that than we did but if they beat wolves it would be useful.

I think that teams fighting for survival can pull shocks at this stage, compared to teams fairly safe in mid-table. Let's hope so anyway (well at least until we face Rotherham and Fulham in the final two matches).
